Freeman Abroad programs are exchange programs. For this reason, each Freeman student sent abroad must be "nominated" by Freeman after they have been selected to participate in the exchange program. After nominated, students must submit a secondary application directly to the host institution.
Each partner publishes its own deadlines and due dates with which students are required to comply. Many secondary applications may require some of the same documents Freeman requires. It is up to the student to understand the requirements and submit the secondary application by the deadline dictated by the host institution. Tulane cannot interfere with partner institutions' policies, procedures, or academic calendars.
Each partner institution distributes what is called a "Fact Sheet" that usually outlines the nomination and application deadlines. Students should browse to the partner institution brochure page after conducting the program search, and then click on the "Fact Sheet" button for access to this information.
