Carol began her career at the Freeman School over 25 years ago in the Stewart Center for Executive Education, where she managed admissions, faculty staffing, marketing, operations and student services for the Executive MBA program. She has also provided leadership to the Goldring Institute for International Business, managing faculty staffing and accreditation initiatives for executive programs throughout Asia and Latin America. A native New Orleanian, Carol holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Tulane University and a Master’s degree in English from the University of New Orleans.

Advises Master of Accounting, Master of Management in Energy and PhD students.

Prior to joining the Freeman School, Guoyong Wu worked for American and Chinese universities in a variety of roles including Lecturer in English and Mandarin, Conference Interpreter, and Admission Counselor. A native of Henan, China, he holds a bachelor's degree in English and Finance from Shanghai Normal University, a master's degree in Applied Linguistics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, an M.Ed. in Language Teacher Education from Vanderbilt University, and a Ph.D. in Literacy, Language and Culture from Clemson University. Currently he is working on his MBA at Tulane University.

Advises Master of Business Analytics and Master of Finance students.

Jeannine Coxen has over 10 years of experience at the Freeman School of Business. Throughout her varying roles, she has worked with masters and undergraduate students from a wide variety of backgrounds and career or academic goals. In addition to academia, Jeannine worked in human resources management with organizations including Aetna and Entergy. She is a graduate of the Emerging Leaders Program at the Tulane University Leadership Institute and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Human Resources Management.

Advises Master of Business Administration students.

Leisha has been in higher education for 19 years as an instructor, program director, and administrator. Starting in international education at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA, she then established international programs for graduate students at Clemson University in Clemson, SC, and for undergraduate students at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. Those roles allowed her to join Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, SC, where she served as Director for International Recruitment and Admissions and Assistant Director for Global Engagement. Most recently she directed the PreCollege Program at Duke University in Durham, NC. As a native Louisianian and Clemson University MBA graduate, she is thrilled to be with the Freeman School of Business supporting MBA students in their educational pursuits.


Brandy Anderson
Director of Registration & Curriculum Management

As senior program coordinator, Brandy Anderson works directly with graduate program advisors, faculty directors, area coordinators, and deans in the areas of budgeting, orientation, course scheduling and registration. She has been in this role since 2016. Prior to that, she spent over 9 years working in admissions at the graduate school at the University of New Orleans. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in management from the University of New Orleans.

Katie Valentine

As administrative program coordinator, Katie Valentine manages all day-to-day activities for the Graduate Programs Office. Prior to this position, Katie worked for over three years in the Office of Undergraduate Education at the Freeman School as a Project Assistant. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Humanities at Tulane.
