
Mauricio González
Executive Director for Goldring Institute: Latin America (Central and South America) and Europe
Mauricio González is the executive director of the Goldring Institute. He has more than 30 years of business teaching and consulting experience as well as a variety of senior administrative responsibilities at universities in the U.S. and Latin America. González specializes in globalization issues and the consciousness of modern enterprises. He served on the board of the AACSB from 2012 to 2015, and in 2012 he was a member of AACSB’s Latin American and Caribbean Council. He also served on the board of the Monterrey Digital Hub from 2018 to 2020. He was formerly dean of the School of Business for the Northern Region at Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico.

Shuhua Sun
Director of China Programs
Professor Sun teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in Organizational Behavior and Managing People in Organizations. His research focuses on human motivation, creative and proactive behaviors, and mental health, with a particular emphasis on how leadership and organizational climate affect these outcomes. His research has been conducted among a diverse range of groups, including new labor market entrants, entrepreneurs, and organizational managers and employees. He has authored and co-authored more than twenty research papers and book chapters on these topics, and his research findings have been featured in the college textbook Organizational Behavior. Prior to joining Freeman School, Professor Sun taught graduate courses in Business Innovation and Sustainable Development and Managing Organizational Change at the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics in the Netherlands.

Lenore N. Mason
Director of Operations
Lenore Mason, the director of the Goldring Institute, joined Tulane more than 18 years ago. She has held several positions within Goldring Institute as Assistant Director of Operations and Senior Program Coordinator in the Latin American PhD Program and International Exchange and Study Abroad Programs. In her current position, she is responsible for implementing and overseeing multiple educational programs in Asia, Latin America, and Europe. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Orleans.

Auranyd (Aura) Alvarado
Senior Program Coordinator
Aura Alvarado is a senior program coordinator with the Goldring Institute of International Business. In this role, she assists international students and faculty with financial, administrative and academic needs. Prior to joining the Goldring Institute, Alvarado served as an administrative assistant, program coordinator and project manager in the Tulane Energy Institute.

Jennifer Tracy
Senior Program Coordinator
Jenny Tracy is a senior program coordinator with the Goldring Institute of International Business. She recently graduated from Tulane’s MBA program, and she looks forward to assisting students through their personal MBA journey. Prior to joining the Goldring Institute, Jenny served as an executive assistant to the Dean of Newcomb Tulane College and assistant to the Chief of General, Endocrine and Oncological Surgery here at Tulane.
